My brother Alex is a serious skier. At least once a year for the past serveral years, he has done at least one multi-day backcountry ski tour in Europe. I couldn't afford a trip to Europe, but I had enough air miles to get to Colorado, and I had read about this (relatively) new ski area,
Silverton Mountain. So Alex and I went for a week long trip in Colorado, skiing Teluride (to get use to 10,000 more feet of alititude than we are use to) then on to Silverton Moutain.
